Departments is a feature that allows site administrators to assign control of specific pages and areas of your websites to other website site editors. Utilizing the site structure you are already used to; a Department is simply a subset of your existing navigation. This means you can choose a select group of users to create and manage content on specific pages without providing those users with full site editing permissions.
