Navigation
The Navigation Manager allows you to make changes and additions to the side/subpage navigation on pages. As well as this, with the right permissions, you can control the primary navigation for each site. From within the Page Editor, you can open the Navigation Explorer, allowing you to assign a page to the sitemap.
Add a Navigation Item
From a Page Editor
1. Click 'Assign to Sitemap'. (If Advanced Options has been selected, click 'Use Site Map' then 'Assign to Sitemap'.) 2. Drag the page from the Unpublished Navigation box and place it in the desired spot in the tree structure. 3. Click 'Select Navigation'. 4. When returning to the editor view, click 'Publish' to save.
From the Navigation Manager
Add an Existing Page 1. Open the Navigation Manager by accessing from the hamburger menu 2. Under the All Site Pages section, search the name that you would like to add to navigation. 3. Drag the page from the list and place it in the desired spot under the tree structure. You can rearrange the order by using the Drag and Drop handles. 4. Click 'Save Navigation'. Add a Custom or External Link 1. Open the Navigation Manager by accessing from the hamburger menu 2. Go to the 'Custom or External Links' section on the left side. Add the link details: ● URL (Note: if using an external link, make sure to include the full link with https://, if using a custom link for internal pages, use the page route found in the page editor) ● Link Label ● If the page is being shared with other sites, select them from the 'Sites' dropdown. ● Do you want this link to be attached to the Primary Navigation for the site(s) it is shared with? If so, tick the box. 3. Click 'Create Link'. A new link will be generated and appear below the box on all sites it is shared with 4. Drag the link and place in the desired spot in the tree structure, you can rearrange the order at any time (Note: if you have chosen this link to be attached to the primary navigation, it cannot be placed under another page) 5. Click 'Save Navigation'
